DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
You are better off building your own stater. I had to modify this starter just to fit my Olds 350. The provided bolts were too short, the bolt holes needed to be drilled out, you have to modify the smaller starter wire that goes to the solenoid by cutting off the eyelet and install the provide slid on type connecter and I had to take it apart to add the supplied shims. It took me 2hrs just to get it installed because I had to run to [@]to buy the correct bolts and drill out the bolt holes splice the new connector cut the new bolts to the proper length and so on. I didn't ever get to start the car with this new starter because it got too late. I hope it works great for all this trouble.

hits oil pan on pontiac 400.
MOVE ON, had top clearance oil pan with hammer to get the starter to fit...then after just a few cranks it sheared its own teeth off drive great...

Do not purchase unless you want to install a lot of shims to make it fit. They only supply three shims which is not enough, for the price should include more. Not a direct bolt on. Returned product and had to eat the shipping fees.
