This Loctite thredlocker works fast and efficiently. With a 10 minute set time I was finishing up work on my truck in no time. The strength is no joke those bolts won't be coming off my truck anytime soon.

I received the Loctite Threadlocker Red this stuff works its permanent fix. States would have to cure it up to 500 degrees to get things to remove. Uses for metal sets in 10 mins stops vibrations. Great uses for older cars with multiple vibrations and bolts! Use on heavy bolt threads eliminate nuts and washers!

So the screws on my bar stools kept getting loose I put a little bit of Loctite thread locker on the screw threads put the screws back in and problem solved. Thank you Loctite.

Will it repair a hole for the coil that holds the spark plug? When I was unscrewing the bolt I didn't realize I was going the wrong way and ate up the inside of the threading that holds the bolt.

No, Brian. This Permatex High-Strength Threadlocker - Part # 27100 is not recommended for the ignition coil or spark plug. You'll need a threaded insert kit for your vehicle. Install the insert into the spark plug hole if the threads are too damaged for repair with a thread chaser.
Can it be used on a rethreaded spark plug hole?

No, Tetatail, this Permatex High-Strength Threadlocker (Part # 27100) will not work for spark plug hole. It is compatible for headlight screws, console assemblies, soundproofing, attachment screws, electrical component boxes, plastic knobs, hose fasteners and dashboard accessories.
Can this product be used on a stripped spark plug hole?

No. Threadlocker can only be used on threaded holes. A stripped hole has no
usable threads. You also cannot 'glue' spark plugs in place.
