Great tool if you use it correctly
This tool kit works great. We have used it for years and it has been handled by many different people. It has been abused severely. The threads finally stripped out on the main part of the tool. Advance took it back under warranty and I got a new tool. Works great unless it is used improperly.
Comes in handy all the time.

beware of used rent a tool
I was actually quite impressed with the pulley pullers ability to not get stuck given the fact that although i was ordering a new kit what i was given when i picked up my order at the store was a loan-a-tool not a new product which the fact that this was a loan a tool was not specified anywhere in the order, on the website and niether was it pointed out by the clerk at the store where i picked up the tool. I am not impressed with that fact however, i have concluded that the tool must be a great one since even with the obvious overuse and damaged parts of it that i had to use it still performed beautifully. Bravo Alltrade bravo!

This tool makes the process of removing and reinstalling the pulley very easy. Trying to muscle it off and on without the tool would be extremely difficult and likely cause damage to the pulley and or the pump. The absolute best part is that with Advance's Loaner Tool Program the tool is absolutely free! You just leave a deposit in the amount of the purchase price of the tool and you get every penny refunded to you when you return the it.
this is a wore out peace of junk , Missing pieces
I tried to use the puller and the part I needed for a Ford pump was missing . No help . It was a USED WORE OUT TOOL I THOUGHT I BOUGHT A NEW TOOL . VERY DISAPPOINTED IN ADVANCE AUTO . MAY HAVE TO TAKE BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE

It made pulling the pully a snap but its a bear to replace the pully the stud stripped out the first time I tried to use it

Used it to remove a power steering pulley on a GM truck. Worked as it should, no problems. Do realize though that it is a cheaper brand of tool and it will eventually break, but for now all is good.
