  • Q:

What if I have an old engine tired engine?

application is for a 1969 plymouth fury III (convertible- nice summer driver) it has 185k miles and it is driven every summer on the orignal engine. it burns some oil and a couple of the cyclnders have lower but acceptable compression. are there any typical problems that I can expect some where down the road with the electronic conversion? I am inclined to go with this model as it comes with the distributor to make sure everything will work just right. I am reading about the higher vs the current standard coils and am wondering if i should be concerned about the increased power should decide to go that way.

Sorry, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. We would suggest that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis.
