This goes around edges of windshield easily since it is a thin consistency. Sealed out the leaks on the first application.

Saw the positive comments on this product and gave it a try. Very glad I did; it totally sealed up the leaks around my windshield. Used an online coupon code to save a little more $$$. It dispenses sort of like a thick super glue (but thinner than regular silicone from the hardware store). Great product.

I have used it under the trunk lid where the joining body panels are factory caulked, but were cracked and leaking rain water into the trunk. It worked great stopping all the leaks !!! I also use it to water prof my work boots. works way better than silicone boot spray.

I use this to seal Saturn sunroofs for GOOD! They all leak like a siv. This stuff seals good and is very thin so it can seep into the cracks.

This product may work well on a flat horizontal surface that is absolutely clean. But in my application it didn't work at all. I spent a lot of time scraping it out. I tried to seal a Winnebago windshield at the top and I found that it just puddled at the bottom of the trim. It didn't stick very well to the OEM caulk that was in there. Your best bet is to get the OEM caulking that comes in a tube but is expensive. AA has it.

Would this be advisable for sealing a leaking sunroof??

                    • A:

It will seal around the weather strip of sunroof but of course not the glass if you intend to use the sunroof. A small amount goes a big way. Work it in and wipe off the excess.

Its self wicking and works great on windshields with butyl gaskets. I wouldn't recommend it for a sunroof or rubber seals.

I'm restoring a 1970 Pontiac Catalina 4 door sedan. The GM cars of this era were know for leaking window seals. I have used this product as a permanent solution to the problem. I wouldn't recommend it for repairing cracks in windshields. You should Google that problem and find the appropriate product.
