This tool works perfectly
This tool will do the job, non mechanics should take the car to a mechanic to have this done and stop leaving negative reviews about the tool. Some pulleys are seized on the pump and will not be able to be removed without damage. Stop being cheap and just go buy a new pully, most are old and rusted and need replacing anyway, do the job right if you expect great results. The installer tool is meant to have the threads cut to the length you need for the job.

Reviews are spot on its junk broken 1st use
This is unbelievable they sell this as a puller. If you vehicle was brand new just off the show room floor this product would still not work and definitely be broken before you would ever remove a pulley new rust free or not. This is scrap metal at beat, thanks for the return advance you guys are great unlike this product.

I definitely wouldn't buy this again broke immediately
The ring that keeps the puller/jaws captive around the pulley broke along a weld almost immediately long before it would have had enough Force to extract a pulley (within 5 minutes of opening the thing).
