JAPANESE LINE - SAE INVERTED FLARE/METRIC AGS is the industry leader in the automotive aftermarket for steel brake, fuel, And transmission lines. Combining only the highest quality components, AGS manufactures steel lines that lead the automotive aftermarket in quality, coverage, And fill-rate. NiCopp is a nickel-copper alloy brake tubing that meets SAE StAndard J1047 And ISO 4038; meeting all international And U.S. requirements for brake tubing. This alloy is approximately 9.2% nickel, 1.4% iron, 0.8% manganese, And 88.6% copper. Under the UNS system, this alloy is designated as UNS C70600. NiCopp therefore has the strength And structural integrity of steel lines but with the added benefit of being much more corrosion resistant. NiCopp is also easier to bend And form than steel tubing. Nickel-copper, commonly referred to as '90-10 copper', has been used on several European vehicle brake systems since the 1970's, including: Volvo, Audi, Porsche, And Aston Martin. NiCopp has been used on hydraulic/fluid transfer systems on vehicles where steel lines And tubing are commonly used. This includes brake, fuel And transmission systems. Easiest line material to work with

I had to do the rear brake lines on my 99 Accord. I was dreading doing the brake lines. In the past I've used steel line and it was horrible trying to bend and flare. With the NiCopp it was a breeze. Anyone who is unsure if they want to do their brake lines or pay a shop, I'd highly recommend them to use any NiCopp line. It was hands down the easiest lines replacement job I've ever done and easy enough for even a novice to do.

The rear brake lines had corroded through on our 96 Accord so I bought four of these 60" lines to do the replacement. NiCopp lines are corrosion resistant and much easier to bend by hand, so I considered it worth the extra cost. For the passenger side, I had to buy a shorter steel line to reach the proportioning valve since 60" is the only NiCopp length sold by Advance for the diameter and fitting size I needed (3/16" and M10x1.0). I would love to see other lengths offered.
Finished lines make the job much easier -- no need for a tubing cutter, flare tool, etc. All you need are union fittings and in my case Adel-style clamps to secure the lines if the old clamps rusted away. Anywhere you have extra line, simply coil around a cylindrical object.
Nice to have a brake pedal again.
