2 inches does not mean 2 1/4 inches
If the product says 2 inch inside diameter, then another connector with a 2 inch outside diameter should fit snugly. There was enough room to fit a pencil -- it was at least 2 1/4 inches, maybe more. The item was either mis-marked or badly constructed. Either way, I attempted to return it. But the clerk was confused -- the SKU number was correct, it was what I ordered, What's the problem?? (it went back in the bin for the next guy to deal with).
Somehow they could not delete the item from my credit card -- one disadvantage of ordering online. It took over 10 minutes to cash out a connector and three clamps.
