I put these in my 2001 Cadillac Seville SLS. I was having intermittent missing and occasional starting problems - especially when hot. Since I bought the car used and didn't know the service history, I decided to replace the plugs first. This solved the problem instantly. Even though pre-gapped, you should check the gap, as 3 out of 8 were off. No noticeable fuel economy improvement, however, above problems were solved and there IS a noticeable power increase - probably in the 10% range.

These plugs are fragile, must be very careful gaping them, I cracked one installing it on the back side of engine and I have never broken a plug in my life, did not do anything extra for motor runs normal, took out old e-3s and if I had to do over I would go with the e-3s or ac-delco. Overall just a normal replacement plug that is a little on the delicate side!

While doing engine work on 2000 Mustang, replaced plugs, wires, etc. and decided to try upgrade on plugs. They seem to be working quite well. Gapped accurately out of the box. Cool.

Purchased 8 of these for a Mercruiser 496 Mag marine engine. What a difference it made over the previous factory recommended AC Delco plugs. Always been an NGK fan.

It is a v6 which means 6 cylinder so 6 spark plugs.

    • A:

You definitely need six of the plugs. I do not remember they come with
individually packed (probably this is the way) or four-packed together.
