Comments about National Oil Seal:

Web site is terrible as application is not shown in bigger listings of parts, requiring that each part be selected and reviewed. This time, even that info was wrong on the application. This has wasted my time and gas to go pick up the part. FIX THE WEB SITE - PLEASE

  • Q:

Is there a trick to installing the oversized seal that came with the kit
    Asked on 4/3/2016 by Novice

    1 answer

Hi Novice, I'm glad to assist you! Apply lubricant to the seal lips. With seal installation tool and adapter (or similar tool), press the seal into the housing. The seal should be centered and seated squarely. Apply lubricant to the outer diameter of the pinion yoke and on flange splines. Replace the pinion yoke on the shaft. Match previously made marks so shaft and yoke align.
