Comments about National Front Wheel Ball Bearing:

I installed this on the front of a 2003 Nissan Altima. This is a pressed in bearing. I brought the whole hub assembly to the machine shop to have the old one removed and the new one installed. Worked fine, no complaints about quality as of yet.

Comments about National Front Wheel Ball Bearing:

Not very happy with this product. I will have replaced this bearing for the third time in 8 months. I will not go back with this brand this time even though i have a warranty.Cutting my loss with warranty and purchasing another brand.

Comments about National Front Wheel Ball Bearing:

Installed 2 sets of these bearings. 1st set I installed myself. Left side started howling first then the right side started. All happened a little over a year after it was installed. 2nd set, I had my mechanic install them (thinking I may have done something wrong the first time). The left started howling not even 6 months later. Replaced both with Timkin. It's been over 2 months and no noises yet. See what happens after their(Timkin) 1 year warranty expires.

Am I correct to assume that this bearing has to be "pressed" on versus bolted? If so there is a substantial difference in the labor costs. Thanks
