Why reinvent the wheel (nozzle)?

The can itself is fine, but the nozzle is overcomplicated and frustrating to use. The plastic gets hot and brittle over time, which makes me worry it could break in an urgent situation. Ideal gas cans should be simple, sturdy, and spill-resistant—this one isn't quite there. I'm thinking about retrofitting the nozzle for durability.
