Comments about Melling Oil Pump Repair Kit:

200K on original, so I thought it was time to replace the timing chain, and do this, too, while I was in there. Checked tolerances on the old pump and it was still good, but put the new one in, anyway. This pump seems far more durable than the old style used before it.

how do i change the oil pump For A 1989 Oldsmobile Delta Royale v6 3.8

      1 answer

The Oil pump in a 1989 Oldsmobile Delta Royale v6 3.8L is located at the bottom of the engine at the lowest point of the pan. Replacing this Oil pump in your vehicle involves a challenging task and I would recommend a Haynes repair manual for this project. For any further assistance please feel free to call 1-877-238-2623 and one of our representatives will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
