AS always Lucas products took my worry away. Had a whistling power steering pump added Power Steering Fluid with Conditioners and the whistle went away and the car handled better. It is a little expensive but dont let that scare you.

its just power steering fluid....
To use.. just unscrew the cap and pour in. It is clear. I know it is Lucas, which is supposedly the best brand, but I'm really not sure that I notice much difference with it. I mean, my car turns, like its supposed to, so I guess it works. It is not expensive either, so if you need some power steering fluid, then you might as well go ith this. Besides, you don't change power steering fluid often anyways. Works for my Mazda Protege 2003. It also says that it works for Hondas, though I wouldn't know.

Fluid was low, had a minor leak. Seems to have fixed both, of course overcoming the low fluid level was the easy part.
