Lucas Oil Products Marine Grease: Premium Heavy Duty Lithium Complex Grease, 14 oz.

This is marine grease which has been used to grease new bearings in a boat trailer. No way to tell how well it performs for several months. I bought this based on excellent online reviews by professional reviewers who considered specific properties that are desirable in a marine grease used for trailer bearings which will be repeatedly submerged many times. Resistance to washout is my number one concern since the drop point or high temp performance is excellent among all the marine grease brands. I am switching from Aqualube marine grease which I have used for more than twenty five years with absolutely no problems. Unfortunately it has become difficult to find and too expensive. I am giving four stars based on the Lucas name and online reviews.

The grease itself is good. I wanted to buy this from my local Advance Auto so I could shop there for everything. Bought 2 of these 14oz tubes as I needed them for a job right away. First tube was 1/2 full, the second tube was 2/3 full. Clearly someone had gone into them and taken some out, or the store was using the tubes for something. Unfortunately I'll buy this from the competitor from now on as their tubes are full. I love Advance and all, but I hate that the store sold me half filled tubes. I let the store know, but I had used the product already (I didn't have time to run around and deal with the situation so I just ate the cost). All they could do was apologize but, I didn't have anything to return. Just be aware....
