Comments about Lisle 41mm Water Pump Wrench for GM 1.6L:

I did this job once using channel locks, and it was impossible without removing the alternator and the front motor mount. It was extremely difficult to put enough grip into it to turn the water pump to the first notch, let alone the second notch. This tool made that adjustment a breeze and allowed for a much more reliable belt tension, without having to remove the motor mount (still good to rotate the alternator out of the way).

Hi tim, this part does not fit your Ford Ranger 4.0L engine and it is specifically designed for GM vehicles. To locate the exact water pump wrench, please provide us the year for your vehicle.
