The hipe and price makes you think this product will bring back faded and weathered finishes. It won't. With this product, you do not get what you pay for. It is no better than most $10 cleaner/waxes. If this had a money back guarantee I'd take it back and get Meguires.

First thing I do for my new cars, I make sure it has no wax on it, then apply 6 to 8 coats over a month and it protects the finish and makes it so you hardly have to wash car, just hose it off and wipe down... shines like new for years...

Comments about Liquid Glass Ultimate Auto Polish/Finish:

Been using it for almost 30 years and does a great job. A little time consuming, but one you get those 2 or three coats on over the course of a few weeks, then every 6 to 8 months to keep it up, is all it takes. And SO well worth it. I can wash my car virtually every day and it stands up to it. just make sure the car is absolutely spotless for the extreme best results!

What is the application procedure for liquid glass car wax ?
Asked on 5/7/2017 by Dick from Garden City NY

WAX ON, WAX OFF ... Read the directions on the can ... WAX ON and allow to dry to a haze. WAX OFF. Allow 4 hours between coats. Also, after WAX ON - WAX OFF is complete, allow a 4-hour baking time (in the sun) to fully cure the application. For complete information, call the manufacturer at***.****.
So far, I've applied 2 coats and my truck looks beautiful ... the surface is slick, slick, slick ... beautiful shine with great reflection. Also, you can apply the product to any non-texured surface.
You should do some research ... read what others say about the product and learn more. After all is said and done, make a list of all your questions and call the manufactruer for complete information ... phone # is***.****.

If you paint a vehicle that has liquid glass on it what do you have to do to it?
Asked on 4/20/2017 by Jeff from Eden nc

          3 answers

          • A:

            Hi Jeff,
I have used this product (Liquid Glass) on my '75 914-Porsche and gotten beautiful results...like nothing else!!! Literally does look like liquid glass. The product contains petroleum distillates, aliphatic hydrocarbons, polymers, UV inhibitors, & conditioners. If I were to want to remove it and say, compound and re-finish the vehicle, I would first do a thorough wash with Dawn dish detergent, or buy a car wash detergent designed to remove prior finishing products.
You could always call the company and see what they might recommend:***.****in Teaneck, NJ. The can indicates they have a "pre-cleaner" to remove previous wax finishes, prior to application. They have other products as well on their website: http://www.liquidglasspolish.com (Not trying to sound like a commercial, but it may be helpful.) I hope your project turns out well.

want to maintain it just pre-clean twice a year and apply liquid Glass and
let it cure for 4 hours in the sun and if you want to add some warmth to
the look apply a carnauba wax of your choice.Hope this helps out on your

            A:

Hi Scoot, glad to assist you! Liquid Glass Auto Polish makes it possible to coat your vehicle with a clear, hard, smooth, and mirror-like finish with a minimum of effort. It contains no wax, oil, grease, acrylic or Teflon. It's key ingredient is crystal clear carbon, the same element found in diamonds. Once air cured, the Liquid Glass finish is as hard as glass and will never crack, chip, peel, or yellow, and is safe for use on today's clearcoat finishes, as well as other non-porous surfaces, including all painted surfaces, brass, aluminum, chrome, stainless steel, and glass. Provides excellent protection against acid rain, tar, sap, rust, road salt, corrosion, dulling, bird droppings, bugs, tree branch scratches, and just about anything else nature can throw at your vehicle. Plus, it retards oxidation of painted metal and fiberglass. For more information, I would suggest that you contact the Liquid Glass directly at 1-201-387-6755 and they would be in a better position to help you.

        • Q:

          Hi,
I have two questions concerning Liquid Glass Ultimate Auto Polish/Finish:

          1. Does the product contain nano particles?

          2. Can I use the product on engine parts or possibly even on the exhaust system of vehicles? What is the maximum temperature the coating can take? What happens to the coating if that maximum temperature is exceeded? Will it peel, throw bubbles, change color?

          Thank you, kind regards,

          Tim

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

Hi Tailgunner, glad to assist you! This Liquid Glass Ultimate Auto Polish/Finish - Part No. LG100 has nano-sized silica glass particles that bind with your car's paint for lasting shine and protection. It is not recommended for the use with the engine or exhaust parts. The ideal applied surface temperature should be between 50 and 80 degrees. High temperature can affect streaking. Streaks can be eliminated by rebuffing the surface with a damp cloth.

Is this product able to be used as a resin or clear hard "glasslike" sealant? I'd like to use it on a drawing/picture to give it a thick glossy finish... Also, is it able to be applied in a think layer (about a quarter to half an inch) and still keep the non-foggy clear appearance? Please advise.
