  • Q:

Is the input shaft 3/4 or 13/16
Asked on 3/31/2017 by Robert from Illinois (IL)

    1 answer

Hi Robert! We strive to have all of the information available to our customers when shopping on our website. There are times when the manufacturer does not provide all of the information a customer may require. In this case, even Lares Corporation does not have the input shaft size listed. I would suggest that you contact the Lares Corporation directly at 1.800.555.0767 and they would be in a better position to help you.

  • Q:

What is the rotation of the pitman arm when you turn the wheel clockwise? I am working on a vehicle with unknown steering box. I guess this item will fit in correctly if I know the rotation.

Asked on 6/11/2015 by Willy from Reno, Nevada

Hi Willy, I'm glad to assist you! The ACDelco Air Inlet Actuator - Part No. 15-73599 is standard rotation. When you turn the input clockwise the sector shaft will also spin clockwise.

  • Q:

Why is 1230 called a Rock crawler gear and 1231 called a power gear?
Is the ratio different? specs seem the same?
    Asked on 2/14/2014 by j

    1 answer

Hi J, glad to be of assistance! Per Lares, both the 1230 and 1231 come with the same size and ratio but there are more robust components with the rock crawler version (1230).
