  • Q:

I have an 08 accord ex. V6 and it won't turn over. Tested all power and components that would cause it not to crank or turn over. I discovered beside the interior fuse panel another box with relays. Well when trying to crank it the ignition relays are humming really bad. Would it be the relay or another issue

Hi Dustin! Every engine requires four basic ingredients to start: sufficient cranking speed, good compression, adequate ignition voltage with correct timing and fuel - a relatively rich air/fuel mixture initially. If an engine cranks but refuses to start, it lacks ignition, fuel or compression. The most likely causes here would be a failed fuel pump, ignition module or broken overhead cam timing belt. However, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it, nor provide you with a 100% answer. I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.

Hi Arpit! The MITSUBA 7002 3710 does not cross the Part No. R6229. No listing shown for an ELF relay for your 2004 Honda Accord LX. I recommend checking with your local store for availability.
