Much easier to install than advised. Just took me 45 minutes with regular tools. Worked great.

Comments about Intermotor Ignition Starter Switch:

There are 3 legs on these that slide into the socket and the first one came in a tattered box and I didn't realize that one of the legs was broken off flush. The Advance people would not have noticed it if they didn't have another one to compare and this item was not in stock in my local store. The second one was delivered the next day and was perfect and fixed an 07 VW Bug who's fuel pump kept running after the key was turned off.

Comments about Intermotor Ignition Starter Switch:

This is the second one I've installed from Advance in 7 months. Couldn't find my receipt, and counter guys feel it's another problem. Forced to buy another one. Funny, when I install the new one, all is fine. Not good quality. China part. Not crazy about counter guys thinking "it's not the switch". This behind the counter diagnosis has to stop. I didn't go there for opinions, just the part. I buy a lot of parts, but I will begin to look elsewhere.

No Buckey, this is just an electrical switch part and does not come with the keys.

you have to diassemble the steering column, and it's opposite the place you insert the key. it's sort of a pain in the butt, i'm about to do mine in a day or so.

In the steering column. You can access it without removing the steering wheel, air bag and everything else by removing 2 #1 Phillips screws behind the steering wheel. You will need a long screw driver or fab one and hold your tongue just right. This will drop the lower plastic housing. Undo the wiring harness then use a jewelers screw driver to loosen the set screws and presto.
