    Comments about Intermotor Ignition Coil:

Easy replacement for the T100 3.4 V6. I like easy. This is the second coil, of three on the engine, I've replaced in the past few months. 170,000 miles = no complaints. Thankful for the ability to get parts so quickly and fix myself.

Switch the spark plug wire to a different ignition coil and see if the problem goes to the new cylinder.

      • A:

Test the coil pack by pulling it out and swapping it out with another coil pack and see if the misfire jumps to the one you swap it out with. Vice versa in the spark plug wire.

there are only ( 3) of these one one side of your engine

Answered on 9/9/2010 by holly from slidell la.
      • A:

No, you do not need six!
Each coil operates 2 cylinders, so on your V6, you would need 3.
