        where exactly is the part located on the vehicle

          On my 1999 Nissan Altima, as you're standing in front of the car, facing the engine with the hood up, it is located on the left side of the engine (passenger side of the car), near the back - just to the left of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve. It is held on with a single nut, and has a couple/few vacuum lines attached to it.
