      It's on the top of the engine just to the right of the exhaust manifold. check out this website for more details and pics.

      I have a 2005 and it has a couple of pics. I think it's in the same spot for the 2001.

      The crankshaft position sensor is located at the top of the bell housing, close to the engine. There is a 10mm bolt holding it in place.
