My system stopped taking the freon at about 37 psi, so that is where I left it .... in the blue Filled zone on the gauge. Chart on can said to shoot for about 50 psi with temperature adjustment, but I have learned from experience to charge until more presses on trigger no longer move gauge dial. System had shown bubbles in sight window, initial pressure reading was 17 psi, so can more than doubled pressure with some 40% of freon still available in can. Like being able to reuse the product, old R-12 cans were a one-shot deal, lots of waste. Remember when consumers couldn't even buy the new R-134 for home install, very little gas escapes during this process. The connect valve is a great design, pull back outer ring and release when fully on low pressure side (Blue Cap) valve. No leaks at connection during process. I shook can, then pressed trigger, hard to do both simultaneously with hose length. Very chilly A/C now!! Make sure hose is firmly connected to can male thread, but plastic threads, do not over-tighten!

Comments about Interdynamics EZ Chill R-134a Refrigerant Plus Oil with Leak Sealer (18 oz.):

Product was horrible. We bought this because we like to have the gauge when recharging the AC in my car. The connectors on this are plastic and popped off constantly causing us to lose some of the product. The hose on the product is entirely too short for it to work properly as well. I will be returning this as it was useless and a horrible product.

    i have a 2002 infiniti q45. Will 1 can be enough?
Asked on 5/15/2017 by cb from tampa

    1 answer

    • A:

This should be enough unless your system is completely empty. Most systems hold no more than 22oz. Under your hood there should be a sticker telling you the most your system will hold.

There are times when the manufacturer does not provide all of the information a customer may require. In this case, even Interdynamics does not have the temperature range listed. I would suggest that you contact the manufacturer directly and they would be in a better position to help you. URL - http://rechargeac.com/about/contact-us

      A:

Hi Steff, glad to assist you! The pressure should be 45-55 psi (310-379 kPa) on the low. 225-250 psi (1551-1724 kPa) on the high. However, when it comes to repair and maintenance it is always recommended referring the vehicle owner's manual for the exact specifications to get better and safer results.
