My system stopped taking the freon at about 37 psi, so that is where I left it .... in the blue Filled zone on the gauge. Chart on can said to shoot for about 50 psi with temperature adjustment, but I have learned from experience to charge until more presses on trigger no longer move gauge dial. System had shown bubbles in sight window, initial pressure reading was 17 psi, so can more than doubled pressure with some 40% of freon still available in can. Like being able to reuse the product, old R-12 cans were a one-shot deal, lots of waste. Remember when consumers couldn't even buy the new R-134 for home install, very little gas escapes during this process. The connect valve is a great design, pull back outer ring and release when fully on low pressure side (Blue Cap) valve. No leaks at connection during process. I shook can, then pressed trigger, hard to do both simultaneously with hose length. Very chilly A/C now!! Make sure hose is firmly connected to can male thread, but plastic threads, do not over-tighten!

WORKED WELL, CHARGED A/C AND IT WORKED GREAT. ONLY PROBLEM, THE CAN IS SUPPOSED TO BE HELD UP STRAIGHT, BUT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GET CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE LOW PRESSURE VALVE WITHOUT HOLDING IT UPSIDE DOWN. IT REALLY NEEDS A LONGER HOSE.

Recommend - good for recharging old cars' ACs

Comments about Interdynamics EZ Chill R-134a Refrigerant Plus Oil with Leak Sealer (18 oz.):

Had to recharge my Honda's AC after the freon drained again after a few months. This is a good product and very easy to use. The gauge is what's the most valuable - very well-designed and easy to make sure you have the proper measurements.
It is a touch overpriced, but it's nothing AAP's coupon's couldn't bring down a bit.

  • Q:

The hose on my InterDynamics EZ Chill doesn't seem long enough for my 2005 Chevy Venture. Do you sell a longer hose I can use with my can of EZ Chill?
Asked on 7/15/2017 by Super Dave from Iowa

    1 answer

    • A:

I'm not aware of any longer hose for this. Refrigerant is added to the low pressure side of the system, usually at the evaporator coil. There should be an access fitting there that the hose snaps on to. I'm not familiar with your vehicle, but there may be
an alternate low pressure access fitting other than at the evaporator. I've used this product on several different vehicles without an issue. Good luck! Also, the can does not need to in an upright position, if that's your problem. If you're adding it to the
evaporator at the "drier", you can turn the can upside down and add the refrigerant, "throttling" it in slowly if needed.

This product is most definitely compatible with your vehicle and honestly
extremely easy to use as well don't spend the high price at a garage if you
don't have to look back towards your firewall in your engine bay for the
aluminum lines that will be for your ac now just find the valve on it which
is really just a very big looking tire valve thing and that is where you
need to fill it at. Then just follow directions on bottle and you are set
my friend You Will Need to START Your Car and HOLD Your CAN IN POSITION
SHOWN ON CAN JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T want to WASTE IT WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. I
Hope This is HELPFUL MY FRIEND.

It should work if you just need a charge. I am not a mechanic but I can tell you it did not work for me because there was another issue with my ac. If it needs a charge it should work no problem.
