The results were very impressive. I was extremely pleased to see this very new product from GG. I have used about every one on the market. The tires were properly cleaned and dry. I applied the product and wow - the volume, spray pattern, coverage was perfect. No overspray on wheels, fenders or garage floor. The shine was brilliant - I love it. Now the real test was about to come...I waited 24 hours before driving and off I went - 2 hours later...no splatter or slinging on car. OUTSTANDING! My only mistake was buying only 3 cans - should have purchased a case. Another fantastic product that lives up to its claims! Way to go Griot's!

Looks absolutely fantastic when first applied. Even after allowing it to set for a full 2 days before driving the car, the product splattered all down the side of the car. And when I washed the car, the sponge was very black and grimy feeling. Sorry to say, I can't recommend this unless you're someone just looking to make a car look good for the moment and send it down the street. If it's YOUR car and you're caring for it for the long hall, you'd best use the gloss dressing -- the next one down.

Best tire shine spray on the market

I've tried just about every tire shine spray out there, and most will either look good for about a day and just disappear, or sling all over the place when you start driving. With GG Black Shine, you get amazing shine and very little or no sling. For those reviewers who are saying it does splatter all over your freshly washed and waxed car, you are applying WAY too heavy of a coat. Yes, if you spray one really heavy layer of this on your tires, it will splatter. You MUST do light coats. Do the first coat after washing and drying your tires, (using Rubber Prep of course, another awesome product!) then wait a bit, and do another light coat. I've been stopped at traffic lights and had people get out of their cars to ask me how I got my tires so black and glossy. One can lasts me a long time, too. And I have 37's on my truck with 18" wheels so that should tell you how much sidewall I have to spray. Don't waste any more of your time with other tire shine sprays. Buy this one, and remember--light coats!
