Finally an aerosol with an original finish.
I have always preferred aerosol applied tire dressings for ease of use but I do not always like the high shine that most of them produce. Black Satin gives the tire a nice "new" appearance without a fake looking shine. I have had no issues with it slinging off the tire like many other aerosol dressings. Two thumbs up!

Great Product Great Look!
I am pleasantly surprised by the performance of Griot's Black Satin Tire Coating. It was easy to apply, one coat gave me the look I was looking for, a nice clean smooth satin look. I read the tip on cleaning the tire first but I didn't bother, I used it without any prep and the tires came out looking great. No artificial shine, a nice clean satin look. One can will last a while because of the one shot application with no re-coat. I highly recommend this product if that's the look you want.

I applied 1 light coat per directions. I waited a couple of hours and it was still greasy and too glossy. I then sprayed some on a microfiber towel to wipe off the tires to a dry finish, and they look great!

A store staff member suggested this product for me. After COVID, the previous product that I used for years on my tires is no longer produced.
Followed the instruction on the spray can .... Black Satin Tire Coating is very disappointing! What a waste of money! No Shine ... No Gloss ... No type of (tire sidewall) "penetration or absorption "! It was like spraying "runny black water" on my tires ..... ;-(
