FRAM Engine Oil SAE 5W-30 utilizes a blend of high quality conventional and synthetic base stocks coupled with a robust additive system to provide reliable engine protection across a broad range of operating conditions. Specifically formulated for use in modern gas-direct engines (GDI) and turbo gas-direct engines (TGDI) as well as older carbureted or normally fuel injected gasoline engine designs. FRAM Engine Oil SAE 5W-30 contains additive technology designed to prevent low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) while also providing increased wear protection, oxidation and shear stability over previous oil categories. FRAM Engine Oil SAE 5W-30 meets the requirements for API SP, SN Plus, SN, SM and ILSAC GF-6A, GF-5 and earlier API and ILSAC Service Categories.

Great for air cooled small engines!
I have a 2005 Gravely ZT1944 zero turn mower with a Kohler CV20 engine. Calls for 10W-30. Instead, been using 10W-40 since new. After almost 20 years and 1200 hours on engine, switched to this 20W-50 and an oversized giant car oil filter. It runs great! More oil capacity, quieter engine, smooth operation. Probably should have switched to this 5 years ago. Regardless, mower is still running strong! If you have an older mower you should consider switching to this. These engines are air cooled. The thicker motor oil helps.

I would NOT BUY HERE AGAIN
I drove 50 miles to get this oil that I orderd only to have my order cancelled!?!?!? What in the absolute is going on with this location?!?! I didnt know you could just waste peoples time like this.
This is the SECOND time I have spent my money to drive to a location to pick up an order, only be informed that that it had been cancelled, upon my arrival.
Whom may I ask is going to reimburse my time and expeditures? Either fix the inventory system or have someone a bit higher up, on site actually watching these kids behind the register.
The last time I went, the kid behind the counter never asked for my number, assigned my orders points to what I can only assume is an employee or friend of the store, so they can point harvest and essentially steal, and again forcing me to waste even more of my time, calling Advance auto supprt to ask for the points i paid fo and earned.
This store's managment is an absolute joke. He didnt even offer to rain check it for me.
The kid behind the counter just kept saying "I cancelled that order"
With the only reason being "Oh Legacy tire bought them this morning"
I run a company too, with 3 million in sales annually...and I DO NOT Sell thing I don't have, we also don't cancel orders on non corporate accounts to accomodate the side deals going on up the road.
I would LOVE to know how Advance Autos 3.04 BILLION dollar comapny decided to cheap out on an inventory system that allows local store to give the better deals to their friends.

I do not use synthetic oil on old engines that didn't use from the get go. Some gaskets will leak a lot….
