Fluid Film is a lanolin based, solvent free, rust and corrosion inhibitor as well as a penetrating lubricant. Fluid Film provides excellent protection for metal components. The formula is 100% solvent free and will not get gummy or tacky. Fluid Film works as a release agent on the underside of Lawnmower decks making clean up much easier. It is nonconductive and will prevent corrosion on battery terminals.In harsh climates or conditions, Fluid Film will not readily freeze and retains a slick consistency, keeping chains and moving parts from binding or building up dirt and debris. Fluid Film is ideal for frame and chassis undercoating to protect from salts and brines on vehicles and trailers. Great product at a grewt price

We have lived in the salt belt now for a few years. I apply fluid film to each of our vehicles each August. Our cars statyed with no rust. I was curious after three bad winters jn a row if our cars had any rust at all. I wiped a section of lower control arms from esch vehicle and there was absolutely no rust on any of them. You could probably get away with undercoating every other year but i like to apply it every year because it builds up a nice thick layer ovet the years as dirt and stuff gets on it, making the protective coating even better in my opinion. Advance auto parts pricing for fluid film can't be beat either after their promotion pricing, i haven't seen it cheaper anywhere else, and rhey deliver it to you for free too. Highly recommend.
