Comments about Felpro Rear Main Seal Set:

I always buy quality parts. Spent a couple more dollars for this part and may have helped secure an American job for another day. Support American jobs and ask for "Made in USA " parts.

Has a seal ring with it

Comments about Felpro Rear Main Seal Set:

Works well. Comes with a ring that slides over your crank to provide a new, clean, surface to seal against. I didn't realize what the ring was for at first, thought it was just packaging to prevent the lip seal from being damaged. ...don't install it without the ring. You'll have to pull everything back apart when you notice oil spots on the driveway. Otherwise, no problems at all.

Do you have to drop the oil pan to change this seal or the front one?

No, you must remove transmission and flywheel/flexplate, then remove the 5 little bolts; clean all old sealant off then reassemble.
