I'm happy to help, Bubba! This Edelbrock Performer 429/460 C.I.D. V8 Intake Manifold (Part No. 2166) for Ford V8s is a non-EGR intake manifold. This is a stock/street legal part for 429 & 460 V8's eith OEM 4-bbl carburetors with an electric choke from 1968-1972 and 1973 outside of California. Edelbrock Part No. 3766 must use the OE EGR plate.

Edelbrock recommends Fel-Pro Part No. MS 96018 for your intake gasket. Here are some additional specifications: Manifold height: A-3.75", B-4.49" same as stock; Carb pad height: 4.12". Port exit dimensions: 1.65" x 1.96".

Edelbrock also recommends Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS or Performer Series carburetors (600-800 cfm) for use with this manifold. For automatic transmissions use Part No. 1483 & Part No. 1495 or Part No. 1844 & Part No. 1848. The Performer Plus Camshaft (Part No. 2167) is also recommended to be used with this intake manifold.
