I learned my lesson the hard way. I installed my first set and got about 14 months out of them. That should have been my first clue, but I thought I had alignment problems and I failed to properly diagnosis the problem. Then I installed another set in November of 2014. By October 2015, I was having problems with the driver side bearings. I bought new tires, went for an alignment and they could not do it since the bearings were found to be bad. Advance was great, and gave me a replacement. I installed it and got less than 1 month out of it before the bearings went out. So, no more money savings for me, I went with MOOG bearing hubs. Before you buy, ask the counter person to show you a Drive Works and a MOOG side by side, and you will easily pay the difference for the MOOG. Oh yeah, the Drive Works on the passenger side went out also, so I am replacing it this weekend with a MOOG unit. Lesson learned. Although I can do the swap in about 45 minutes now, it is still a frustrating price to pay for a little experience.

Comments about Driveworks Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly:

Ready for pick up very quickly. Easy to fit the studs to mount it. I did have to find 8 new lug nuts at M14 2.0....... But that wasnt difficult.. Been on the truck 3 days and the truck drives like new. I used you tube for instructions on how to fit it and where to grease to increase longevity.

Comments about Driveworks Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly:

Bought a '99 f250 a few months ago and in checking it over discovered front left bearing/HUB assembly to be squealing and loose. Didn't want to pay the $200+ for a 14 year old truck and took a gamble on this after shopping around. Was concerned because of the reviews saying it did not come with the mounting studs. Ordered it online and picked up in store. Happily surprised to find that the mounting studs WERE included. Installed as easily as the original came off the truck. Only had it on about 500 miles now but so far no complaints!!! Would definitely buy again! Cant beat it for the price.

Had these for almost 2 years now and over 25K miles. Use them on my truck for heavy towing and running oversized tires, no problems with them.
Wasn't sure about these but didn't want to pay twice as much for the others so took the chance. No regrets in getting them. Not sure if they will last 100K+ miles but no indications of any trouble.

Comments about Driveworks Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly:

not bad for about half the cost of others. the only problem I have seen is that it don't have studs that bolt it to the knuckle. This may have just been mine. the old ones can be a bear to get out due to thread lock. you can take the install nuts and double nut them on one stud. hold the bottom one with a wrench and tighten the top one with an impact if you have one. use the bottom nut to break it loose then you might be able to take it out with the impact gun. if not then use your wrench in the bottom not to get it out. Hope this helps.

                        A:

I'm happy to help, Back Zowie! This Driveworks Hub and Bearing Assembly is engineered to fit and function like your original equipment and uses M14 x 2.0 lug nuts. This can be found under the Product Application(s) heading in the Description tab with your vehicle information entered into the website. Your 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty Pickup with the 6.0L 363 CID V8 Turbo Diesel may use lug nuts with an M14 x 1.50 or M14 x 2.0 thread. Advance Auto Parts offers 11 lug nuts available for your vehicle in with a variety of styles and sizes.

Search for 'lug nut' on our website with your vehicle information entered to see the options available for your vehicle. This will also display the M14 x 1.50 size. Searching with a 2001 Ford Excursion 7.3L will limit the selection to the M14 x 2.0 lug nuts. I also suggest purchasing a new spindle nut (Part No. 615-072.1 or Part No. 615-073.1 [RWD]) and washer (RWD only Part No. 618-033). A spindle nut socket set may also be helpful (Part No. 15009-01)

Don't forget to pick up a repair manual for torque specifications and replacement instructions: Haynes Part No. 36060 or Chilton Part No. 26667.
