I replaced both of my links on my 96 Explorer with these. After about 5 months the driver side has somehow loosened by itself. The passenger side both sets of bushing have cracked in half. I will be tightening up the driver side and getting a warranty replacement for the passenger side. If these fail again I will be returning for the better quality Moog parts

Great price and quality. Not that difficult to install on my 2002 Ford Explorer. Be prepare to do some cutting on the installed swing bars to remove. My were rusty and required cutting.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Sway Bar Link Kit:

Easy to install and seemingly solid construction. The best part of this replacement was the nylon lock nut as the links I removed were so rusted that I ended up cutting them off with a hacksaw.

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Well this all depends on the skill level of whoever is removing or replacing the part. Some may have a harder time than others who have experience. I would recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

Answered on 5/14/2011 by DIY Daniel from AAP
    • A:

It is not hard to install but you will need to have the vehicle on a jack or preferably a jack stand and a jack under the lower control arm to jack it up so the bolt reaches all the way through. The hard part is getting the old one out. I had to hacksaw it out on my truck due to norther salt/rust.
