Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

A quality part and a perfect fit on my 1995 Pontiac Trans Sport. I had no problems with bolting (and tightening) the ball joint to the lower control arm first, then put the stem into the knuckle. Length of the stem was the same as original factory ball joint - and ended about 1/8" from CV joint. Ball joint mounting bolts were 1", way longer than needed when assembling the way I do. Did not care for the large pinch bolt however, as the entire length of the bolt was threaded, including the area through the cutout in the stem which helps to prevent the stem from falling out of the knuckle. Probably OK to use, but I preferred my original factory shouldered bolt.

Will continue to buy, but use different bolts

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

The shaft on this ball joint was longer than the shaft on the ball joint that I was removing. There is maybe 1/8" clearance or less to the CV boot, so I'm a little worried that it may wear on the boot during movement.
The 3 attaching bolts that were supplied were about 1/4" shorter than the bolts on the ball joint that I was replacing. The shorter bolts made it difficult to press seat this new ball joint into the lower control arm. Using the old attaching bolts, you just insert the bolts and attach the nuts, and then tighten all three bolts simultaneously to pull this new ball joint into the hole on the lower control arm. The three new bolts were too short to start the press in process. So save your old attaching bolts when installing this new ball joint.
