the fasteners supplied with kit did not meet my standards. i upgraded to a grade 8 1/4-28 -1" nf bolt and locknut. ball joint itself very good.

emergency front-end rebuild on a buddies S10..
tried the "clover leaf" brand of cheap ball joint, and the sheet metal boot sleeve deal wouldn't line up to let the bolts slide in, then the boot kept falling out (also wasn't greaseable).
ran to Advance and picked up these. dropped right in. only complaint so far, the bolts are garbage. be VERY careful not to strip them, had to reuse two of the old bolts, but otherwise, no problems.
we will see how they last..

Bottom line, always buy Moog front end parts if you can afford it. always worth the extra money for quality, fit, and durability..
But for a third of the price, this will do the job in a pinch.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

It was a good ball joint and it fit in my Chevy Astro van with no problem. I had to use my own bolts because the ones that came with it stripped. Also the big nut stripped as well so I just reused the old one.

Balljoint itself seems to be good quality. Beware of the hardware given to mount it. Putting it together the bolts stripped out on me. Had to go with highest grade bolts, loctite, and Nylock nuts to be safe. 4 out of 5.
