Comments about Driveworks Hub and Bearing Assembly:

New hub assembly installs 100% easier than the old ones come off. Removal can take two hours, installation will take 10-15 minutes. The corrosion factor makes old hubs difficult to remove. When you get some separation of the hub from the steering knuckle, whip out the impact hammer with chisel attachment and this cuts removal time by a country mile.

    • Q:

What is the ramifications of buying a hub with no ABS when I have ABS on the other side?
Asked on 9/21/2012 by BuckeyeJMG from Dublin, OH

      1 answer

In the wheel hub with ABS, there is a toothed gear that is pressed onto the hub unit. So, the wheel hub assembly without ABS does not fit your vehicle, if your vehicle is having ABS. For further assistance, I recommend getting a repair manual for your vehicle. It should be able to give you step-by-step instructions for your project.
