Don't order a part before you have seen the old one.

Comments about Driveworks Automatic Transmission Filter Kit:

Didn't fit my 1997 F150, even though your program called it a perfect match. Had to buy one from Oreillys, because nobody had my filter in stock. At least the guys working at your store were helpful on the return.

Comments about Driveworks Automatic Transmission Filter Kit:

I use these in my 95' f150 5.8L E4OD. I recomend using a rubber mallet to insure firm installing. Be sure the old filter gasket is free from the filter hole prior to install.

        Wrong part

        By

        from Ellicott City, MD

Comments about Driveworks Automatic Transmission Filter Kit:

This part did not fit my 1996 F53 class A motorhome chassis. Description says it is for 2WD which is why I bought it. A better description would be "shallow pan." Discovered I have a "deep pan" which Advance calls "4WD" under the description for part FK-179. Even though website was wrong and I had to run back to store the clerk still made me pay the difference!

                A:

With reference to your inquiry on the Driveworks Automatic Transmission Filter Kit - Part No. DW-FK180, we would recommended that you change your ATF and filter every 20,000 to 25,000 miles (32,187 to 40,234 kilometers). The transmission fluid capacity with filter change is 17.7 quarts and the fluid change will require anywhere from 4 to 6 quarts for your Ford F250 RWD 7.3L. For any further assistance, please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
