Good Product - Different from Original

The product fits perfectly and works fine. Note that it is different from the OEM one and they warn you as such with a bulletin in the box. It mounts with two bolts and two nuts (included) where the OEM product mounts with 6 bolts. It fits right in though. Removal of the door panel never is as easy as it looks in videos. There were additional screws and different clips then appeared in the video. It took me about 2 hrs, taking my time and I'm reasoably handy. I'm sure I can do in now in an hour or less.
The problem with the regulator design on this car is that it uses a bicycle brake type of cable that travels in and out of a cable housing. If the cable get the slightest bit frayed, it will jam up and fail. It gets exposed to moisture and the slightest rust on a cable will cause it to fray.
I did not lubricate the cable or the tracks when I installed it but I suggest that you do. I may open up the door again when I'm not busy to get some grease on the cables. There was some lubricant on it from the factory but not much.
The regulator works exactly like the original one, but like the original it probably will fail if the cables get wet and rust.
Advance Auto stocked the product at their stores, which was handy
Exceeds Expectations

One of my main concerns was if this unit would operate as quietly as the original. To my delightful surprise, it's just as quiet and strong(er) as the GM window motor.
I've replaced regulator/motors before so the installation only took me about 30 minutes. For a 1st-timer, you're looking at 45 minutes being cautious. You need a flat-blade screw driver, 10mm socket or nutdriver, 7mm (9/32") socket or nutdriver and some blue painters tape to secure the window during the swap.
If you're not sure....definitely watch the youtube videos for the job. Well worth it.

I watched a youtube video of changing out the motor, ordered one from Advanced Auto, picked it up the next day and installed it in 30 minutes. It was nice to be able to do this myself. I've paid $300-400 several times to replace these motors and now I know how to do it. There is no wizard behind the curtain any longer..!
