Easy to install with simple tools!
I watched a UTube video and decided to do it myself. This was the 3rd one done in 10 years on my 2004 F150! All the previous ones were replaced by a mechanic at $400.00 each time! I did it myself for less than half what I paid for one repair before, in about 45 minutes! I had all the tools in my box, nothing special except for a #30 torx head screw driver which I had. Saved big bucks! Yea!!!

No juice-No power
After installing the opposite side window regulator with absolute ease, I ran into a problem on the drivers door regulator. During installment, I discovered that after pressing switch to roll window up, I GOT NOTHING. Figured it was switch, fuse, or no power. As I made sure that electrical connector was clicked in good, I noticed that the two wires were crimped badly right at the point before they go into the pigtail connector. I knew instantly that this was the problem. Luckily, I was able to use the extra pigtail (that wasn't actually needed for my truck) to splice and replace the faulty portion of the wiring. A rather important oversight on whoever was suppose to do a quality check on the part....NO JUICE-NO POWER. Overall, I'm happy and the part fits very well, is quiet and seems to be designed way better that the manufactuers version.

hardest part is getting door panel off
other than that it seem to be working good 4 weeks now sence the install. not a loud motor. just as fast as other windows in truck

Fit great. Motor was wired reversed. But was fixed with ease by cutting the wires, re wire them and using the exiting plug as an extension.
