Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Pressurized Coolant Reservoir:

This part is an exact fit for my 2000 Sable. My old tank had no problems other than the low coolant light coming on when the level was not low. I never could find a new switch to buy without replacing the tank. Disconnecting and reconnecting the three hoses is troublesome, but I don't see how you could improve the chore. The coolant reservoir that I received had the low coolant sensor installed 180 degrees from the original. The factory wiring had enough slack to reconnect with out pulling the sensor out of the tank. I like that this tank is molded as one piece. The original was two piece and the black top made it harder to see the coolant level.

I needed this because the sensor in my old one was giving me a false low coolant light. It only took a few minutes to install and no more low coolant light. Worked perfectly!

Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Pressurized Coolant Reservoir:

Wire harness was not keyed correctly for 2002 sable. Product shape, hose connections, and mounting points fit exactly. However I had to hand modify the receptacle to remove the key slots/ribs to get the connector to seat. Very disappointing. Took an extra 2 hours for a 30 minute job!!!

It should not be too hard for somebody to replace. I recommend taking your time and not trying to rush and you should do just fine.
