    This blend door actuator controls heater and air conditioning in the front part of the 2004 Chevrolet Suburban correct? Right now heat is being blending in with air conditioning rendering air conditioning next to useless

      There three actuator driver passenger and the main actuator. If both side is hot then it's the main and there located it front inside near your blower.

      The one you need to change would be the one on top of the dash. I'd say it's probably about a two hour job.

      One actuator controls the heat and air mixture where as the other controls the temp for either side.

      Yes there are two of these actuators in the front though. One is on top of the dash and one is under the dash. Both are located towards the middle part of the dash.

      Yes I used this part to fix the same condition. Hot air was mixed with drivers side ac.   Replaced part blows. Ice and cold.

      It has 2 one by floor center pass side and the other one in under dashboard. That's the bad one if one by floor checks ok.Good luck

We do have an exact fit rear actuator available online for your 2003 GMC Yukon XL 1500 and the part number is F04009. This product is recommended for rear side for the vehicles with dual zone temp control. Please enter your vehicle on our website and search for this part to check the fitment.

    I have a 2005 GMC Yukon the A/C goes from cold to hot sometimes, if I stop and restart the engine it works cold again, I was told it might be Temperature door actuators, where are the located so I can replace them if thats the problem? When I choose for the vents from dash to floor or defroster vents the air goes to each one.

      A:

      The blend door actuator on your 2005 GMC Yukon should be located on the driver side below the dash and right next to vent. It has a hole in it that ties to a shaft inside the vent.
