Q:I have a 2005 GMC Yukon the A/C goes from cold to hot sometimes, if I stop and restart the engine it works cold again, I was told it might be Temperature door actuators, where are the located so I can replace them if thats the problem? When I choose for the vents from dash to floor or defroster vents the air goes to each one.
A:The blend door actuator on your 2005 GMC Yukon should be located on the driver side below the dash and right next to vent. It has a hole in it that ties to a shaft inside the vent.
