Comments about Dorman - OE Solutions Balancer/Pulley Assembly:

The original balancer came apart at 100,000 miles and I replaced it with this one. My truck just touched 200,000 miles and like before, the balancer came apart. It comes apart where the rear pulley is mounted into the rubber. Is this a flaw in design or can I expect this to happen every 100,000 miles. The 22re in my truck runs like a champ and has a lot of life left in it. But if the harmonic balancer is going to come apart on me every 100,000 miles, that is annoying, costly, not to mention inconvenient.
