Simple fix adds great convenience
I recently acquired a used 2013 Durango Crew. This car is decked out with all the bells and whistles, including remote start. But, for some reason I was getting an error, Saying check the hood latch. The hood was closed snug, but This remote start would not work at all. After some research, I found that the fix was to replace the hood latch entirely, and reattach the sensor assembly. I bought this piece and had my mechanic do the swap along with some other work... Works like a charm. Now I don't ave to get into a freezing cold car, then sit to allow it to warm up. Definitely worth the purchase.

I would buy again.
Was a simple fix for good ajar during remote start mode. I was receiving the message on my 2013 Jepp Grand Cherokee. Was able to change in the winter without having to remove hood shrouds. Easy access to bolts and remote start fitting. Took old off and installed new the problem was corrected and can now remote start the jeep to warm up in the winter.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
