The batteries are probably OK .
I charged them overnight in the golf cart with a new Ridemodz 15 amp charger. They worked fine the next day. I took it down the road about 1/2 mile and back and they worked good (powerful} . They were Diehard deep cycle 8 volt batteries for 48 volt cart. Price after discount and core charge refund they were about $131.00 apace
I found out the onboard charger that came with the club car cart will kill the batteries if left plugged in for a long time, it was only about 4 years old.
The new Ridemodez trickle charger will charge without having to bypass the OBC.
The Advanced Auto parts only had one battery on hand . I had to get get them ordered from two different stores to get the online discount.
