Comments about Denso Air Fuel Sensor - Direct Fit:

    Customer service was great.

As far as the actual part...

The website said it was a "perfect match" for my car.

Thankfully, upon further research by the staff, it turns out that it was for a "Manual transmission" and not for an "Automatic Transmission".

So a refund had to be issued and also tied-up my funds for about four days.

Please be certain that your "compatibility software" includes transmission-type as well.

I have read that Denso uses other suppliers to manufacture some of the parts that are sold under the Denso label. How can I make sure that this part is really manufactured by Denso?

    • Q:

I have a 2004 Honda civic Si 2.0L, hatchback model, not CA model.

I am getting trouble code p0134 after changing the bank 1 sensor 1 with a new oxygen sensor from AAP. Could it be that I actually need an AFR sensor? An employee told me that they were the same model#, thus the same part, but I know that these are different parts.

Yes, you have to be careful that you replaced it with the correct type of sensor, 04-05 civics came standard with wideband type air/fuel ratio sensors, not oxygen sensors. A universal O2 sensor is not recommended, replace with direct replacement air/fuel ratio sensor and this part fits your 2004 Honda Civic Si.
