Pump fit perfect, also bought a strainer it fit good, it was configured a little differently, the connection point to the pump was offset, so I put the short end towards the gauge float, the original strainer connection point was in the middle of the strainer. It fit in the tank and works well. I also purchased the wiring harness that is inside the tank that goes from the bottom of the fuel pump mounting assembly to the pump and the fuel gauge sender. The connection at the bottom of the fuel pump assembly was a perfect fit, the connection to the fuel pump a perfect fit, however the connection to the gauge sender unit was not a good fit. Could not get those new end connectors to fit my original gauge sender unit. So I reused my original gauge sender unit end connectors by cutting the original connector wires about 2 inches above the end connection point, and then cut the new gauge sender connectors off about 2 inches above the end connection point, put 1 piece of electrical shrink tubing, about 2 inches long on each wire and then soldered the original wires to the new wires and slid the electrical shrink tubing into position over the soldered wires and heated the electrical shrink tubing up with a bic candle lighter to shrink the electrical shrink tubing, to insulate the wires at the soldering point. All works well. I think the original gauge sender connection points are different because most people probably replace the gauge sending unit as well, but my gauge worked fine so I did not replace the gauge sender unit inside the gas tank. Because my gauge sender is a 1995 part and the new wiring harness is much newer, is probably why the connections are different, the new end connectors probably fit the new gauge sender unit. However, That's just a guess. If I do it again, in the future with any vehicle, I think it would be easier to replace the entire fuel pump assembly, rather than rebuilding the original unit.

Don't trust this Pump
Fuel pump left me stranded 2 times. First time it failed, it restarted after sitting 2 hours. I initially blamed it on something else until it failed again yesterday. ( twice ) Fortunately I had the proper tools with me in order to pinpoint the problem. FUEL PUMP !!!!!! and I had paid the extra few bucks to get the better pump. According to the salesman.... Wish I had seen the " one star " rating prior to my purchase.

Lasted three months
Bought one for my s-10 Blazer. Delphi is supposed to be an oem brand, but this pump sucks. Installed in January, was replacing April 7th. Fuel pressure was half what it should be, and truck was barely running. Did not hold pressure, either. DO NOT BUY!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
