Just used on my 2000 Neon which had moderately heavy fogging. I would estimate the results are about 70% "like-new", which is acceptable for a cheap quick fix- I was skeptical and didn't expect miracles anyway. Only problem is, the product isn't any cheaper than other diy methods and I spent over 2 hours resanding and reapplying to get even minimally acceptable results. I'll go with the 3M system next time.

Comments about Crystal View Headlight Restorer/Defogger:

This stuff works very well, I've brought back a very bad set of headlights on a mk4 Golf to like new. But this purchase will be for a WRX I've already done about two years ago. This stuff is supposed to be for "the life of the car". I do know it works good and is better than those polish only type kits. I'll keep using it even the the package lied to me, just like everything else in the world !

Have a 2003 and over the years the headlights have hazed over. tried a couple of products that claim to do what this product does, but this product does it! When got to the step and wiped the lens with the 2nd liquid was blown away, I could see the bulbs and the lens was like brand new. No drill, no worry about ruining and scratching an expensive head light. Sat back and looked at the before and after, like night and day. This is well worth a try and am very pleased.

You must read the directions and follow to have a good outcome. This product works and will last for about a year. Do not expect a Lifetime Warranty, when contacting the company there was no response! I felt deceived! I will not buy again and
will try another product, there are plenty others out there.

The packaging clearly says that this is a lifetime fix, but reviews everywhere say that it lasts two years or less. After about 2 years, my headlights were fogged again. Don't waste your money buying an expensive product looking for a lifetime fix. Buy a cheaper one which will work just as well.

Comments about Crystal View Headlight Restorer/Defogger:

I'm a 54 yr old Mom. This was my first time using any headlight product on my son's 2001 Grand Prix. I drive his car once a week while he is away at college and was finding it difficult to see the road at night due to the clouded lenses. I researched alot of products online and in stores before I settled on Crystal View. I chose it because of the low price and promised ease of use. And guess what? It WORKED!. It was about an 80% improvement, and I'm quite sure it would have been an even greater improvement if I had put just alittle bit more elbow grease into it. As it was, I only wet sanded about 2-3 mins and probably not as effectively as I should have. The product does not correct any pitting underneath the cloudiness (which of course will suddenly becomes visible), but from a distance of about 6 feet the headlights look DO look new. I'm happy! My one tip is to definitely turn your headlight on, as mentioned in the instructions, if you are working in cold weather. Thanks for saving me hundreds of dollars for new headlights!

The product works as advertised though after one week I see a small amount of degradation. Hopefully it will not progress and the product will continue to its advertised job. It does a great job of clearing the lenses and I'm very happy with the results so far.

Comments about Crystal View Headlight Restorer/Defogger:

This product worked way better then i would of ever thought. Didnt know that you could shine plastic like that. When you use this product you not only need to follow the direction ,but some comin sense as well. you really need to pay attention to the color change of light as you sand especially with the very first 500 grit sand paper and the drill rpms. mine was a standard drill rpms fell right in between the recameneded rpms. the color change is hard to explain, but if you really look as your sandind you can se the bad spots and the not so bad spots murge into one color of a milky white. When you see this if you do and you get the same milky color over the hole light you should be good to go. I sended up and down keeping the sand paper clean by stopping the drill and brushing off the sand paper when it seemed to be plugged. A nd mack sure in between each step of sandind wipe off light with clean rag. Then I went back and forth doing each 2 times. I only used one piece of each off the sand paper and lights came out perfect 98% clear. After you get the first sanding done the rest is cake. Do the same steps on all the rest of the steps and your lights should come with a mirror finish. Make sure on the step of sanding that you use a spray bottle on the foam pad spray the pad and the light keep really wet and wipe of light in bewtween going up and down sop wipe light and rewet and side to side and rewet this really important. If you do this up to this point when you get to the compound buffing doin the same steps as you did sanding. Put compound on the buffer then smear it on the light all around before you turn on drill like your waxing, keeps the compound from flying everywhere. Wipe compound off light in between going up and down and side to side applying quarter sized amounts of compound to buffer each time. I still have enough compound left to do 2 or 3 more sets of lights. After your done and you have wiped the lights off clean put a couple of coats of wax on the lights. I used turtle wax keeps the weather off lights but any good named wax should work fine. I have of before and after.

No it does not. There is a video online apparently of them showing you how to do it. But the instructions are very simple and detailed. I have done two vehicles so far and it works amazing! The sealant coating IS more difficult to get on well, so a video could possibly help for that.

My friend got 4 headlights done with his kit. Two were on a Mustang, the other two were on a Taurus. I would recommend you not try to stretch the kit's materials to do more than a pair of headlights. If you have materials left-that is a bonus!
