Does what it was designed to do. Vehicle had fantastic shifting for having 235,000 miles on it. Did have issues prior to fluid change with slow shifting, hard shifting, and strange noise from transmission. This changed when I changed the fluids with clean ones. I have had a dealership change my transmission fluid in the past they did not solve the issue. Removal of the transmission fluid pan and a good cleanings did the trick to solve the noise and shifting issues. Try this yourself but use a few different containers to catch the fluid when you loosen the pan. Good luck.

Worked. Put the product in during filter change. Can't tell any improvement, but did not make transmission worse. It went on sale immediately after I purchased product which was very annoying because it was on sale before I bought it but I did not get the discount buying it online, every though the advertised discount was online.

I did some research before purchasing this product from Advance Auto. This product is sold for a lesser price at Advance Auto than most auto parts stores. I would definitely purchase this product again, and the speed perk rewards help to save a few dollars on the purchases.

Comments about Castrol Transmax Dexron/Mercon Domestic Multi-vehicle (ATF) Automatic Transmission Fluid (1 Gallon):

Worth buying and gets the job done I replaced my old transmission fluid to this one and there was a big difference in the way my transmission shifts in a great way. Shifts like butter with not struggle. Keep in mind always make sure before changing your transmission fluid to have your car inspected by a Professional to advise you if you should or should not change your transmission fluid.

Glad to assist, JohnnyG! According to Castrol's Recommendations Guide specified for use in a 2007 Ford Edge is MERCON V. Castrol Transmax MERCON V ATF is certified and approved by Ford for all cars and trucks that required MERCON or MERCON V fluid and may be used. Castrol Transmax DEX/MERC ATF would not be recommended for use as it only meets MERCON fluid specifications.

I'm glad to assist you! This Castrol Transmax DEX/MERC ATF meets or exceeds General Motors DEXRON-IIIH requirements, not DEXRON-VI requirements, therefore Castrol Transmax DEX/MERC ATF is not recommended for use in applications calling for DEXRON-VI. However, Castrol Transmax DEXRON-VI ATF and Castrol Transmax Full Synthetic Multi-Vehicle ATF products meet or Exceed General Motors DEXRON-VI requirements.

                A:

Yes, Eavan, this is an exact transmission fluid for your 2000 Toyota Sienna. Your vehicle should require 3.7 Quarts for service change and 8 Quarts for total fill. However, when it comes to repairs and maintenance, it is always better to refer the vehicle owner's manual for the exact specification and quantity for safer and better results.
