Well, congrats to the speed wrenches that did this in 30 minutes, but it took me 90 minutes from the time I rounded up the tools to reinstalling the door panel with the last screw. Then again, I'm slow and methodical.

Rest assured, the job was easy. 5 screws to remove door panel. Pop off 2 door lock rods. Unhook 3 wiring harnesses. Carefully peel off plastic moisture shield enough to get at the necessary bolts. Drop window to remove retainer bolts. Slide window back up and support it there with a couple of screwdrivers in some well placed inner door holes. Unhook motor harness. Unbolt and remove 3 bolts for the motor and 4 more for the slide assembly. Then you start to work in reverse by installing the new regulator, reattaching window, etc.

I had to use a wire tie to pull one of the regulator's cables out of the way of the window slide because it rubbed the cable as it went up and down, but that wasn't a knucklebreaker or anything. Take the opportunity squirt some silicone spray in the window guides while you can get at them.

Simple job all around and works smooth. I've read Dorman redesigned the part to be more sturdy than factory. Hope so. Saved $289 over what the factory mafia wanted for their part and install. Even if this thing breaks once a year, I can still install 4 more for about what they wanted to mug me for.

Had stealership install one before and they charged me about $350. I watched some YouTube videos on how easy it is to install this part. Actually took me 30 minutes to install the part and that was really taking my time. Part cost me less than $100 and I saved BIG $$$.

I was worring about doing this project and hoping I could complete it on my own. I was so surprised how easy it turned out. Like stated before by another customer , about 30 minutes and a phillips screwdriver , a 9 mm ,10 mm socket and driver (Dodge Durango). I took off a few bolts , took out the old , in with the new , door panel
back on . Plugged everything back in . Success in about 30 minutes and I'm not a mechanic . I suggest you to get this product , I saved over $ 100.00 doing this myself . If I can do you can too.

The shop near my house had these in stock which was great because I ordered the wrong side at first. Just be sure to drill down in the description as it doesn't call out left or right in the title. It was very simple to replace. Also be sure to keep the cradle from the old assembly as this one does not come with that component. Overall this is a very good product for the price especially if you by online and use the discont code. The only fault I see is the material is very thin compared to the original.

Hi! The right and left sides of an automobile or the engine are determined facing forward from rear of car or as from the point of view of being seated inside the car, facing the front (ie, from the driver's seat). The left side refers to the driver's side and right side refers to the passenger's side of the vehicle.
