Check Vehicle Fit

Direct replacement Wheel Cylinders are designed to fit specific vehicle applications and to ensure a proper fit every time. Normal wear may cause piston seals to leak. Corrosion and pitting can also occur inside Wheel Cylinders as moisture builds up in the brake fluid. A leaky Wheel Cylinder can be dangerous to the driver, causing gradual softening of the brake pedal and creating brake pull to one side.

Product Features:
  • All Wheel Cylinders are made with high quality EPDM rubber cups and boots for long lasting performance
  • Wheel Cylinder bores are surface tested to ensure an optimum sealing surface for the pressure cups
  • Due to repair time and cost, it is more desirable to replace instead of repair Wheel Cylinders
  • Recommended replacement is suggested when servicing drum brake

    • Q:

One of the similar wheel cylinders offered on the site includes a photo of the two connecting rod links superimposed over the photo of the wheel cylinder; implying that the links are included. Are we to assume that the connection rod links are included with all wheel cylinders? Or only if we see the photo. (Example: Part No. W37420 does not show the links but Part No. W37375 does).
Asked on 4/15/2013 by Shane from United States

We apologize for the inconvenience cause, that the connection rod seems in the picture does not include in both Tru-Torque Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder (Part No. W37420) and Tru-Torque Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder (Part No. W37375). Per the notes under the Description tab, yes it's a 7/8" bore. There is a similar product offering an 11/16" bore; same manufacturer, almost the same cost.
